Do you see those two pillows? That is where Wilson and I have been sleeping. Yes, we still have the bed upstairs, but it's covered with stuff and we don't feel like cleaning it off. Also, we are approaching that magical time of year where it's so hot that the upstairs feels like a sweat box. Usually we drag the mattress downstairs (what we call our "summer home") but as you can see in the picture there is no more space available on our living room floor. I keep telling myself that we just have to get through to the other side and by this time next week we will in San Antonio!

6 days!
Yesterday was a full day of packing. We stopped pretending like we were going to do any cooking in the next few days and packed up the kitchen. I also packed up most of our clothes. When Wilson cam upstairs and saw an empty closet and a giant box full of my clothes he said "What are you going to wear for the next week?" To which I replied, "Do you see all the dirty clothes that are strewn out on the floor around the house? That is what I am going to be wearing. Don't judge me." That is one big reason that I am not really allowing anyone to come over to the house. The other reason goes something like this:

Ha ha. The same thing is happening on this end. I am scheduled to work every day this week through Saturday (when I need to be cleaning house) and then I'm off Sun thru Thur next week. Sheesh. And I no longer own a washer and dryer! Hee hee.
