We also went over to Wilson's family's house and said goodbye to his little sister, Casandra. She has become such a confident and polite young lady, I hope to see her try new things and wish that I could be there to watch her along the way. When she was going to church with us last year she captured the heart of so many adults in our ward that I know she has people that will help her and her mother out should there ever need it, and gives me much relief. I love a good pen pal so she and I are going to write letters and hopefully someday soon we can have her out to visit us in Texas.
And then we ended the day by stopping by Jared and Kyles house some dinner and games. I made Jared sing a few broadway show tunes with me before we left, just to get my fix in as I can't imagine anyone being able to fill that void in Texas.
I also realized that this might be the last Mother's Day when I won't be able to drive over and give my mama a hug. And this helps to calm the nerves and reminds me the reason that I am putting us through all this madness.

Our mother's day gift to mama: a pearl for each girl.

That is so cute, Desi!! I might need to get one for my Mama...where did you get it?
They have tons on etsy! All different varieties, I liked this one because it looked pretty high quality, I can't remember the user though
